Most recognized for her richness of tone and expressive musical style, Jeannine Goeckeritz has an extensive and diverse performance background. She is a sought after freelance musician, whose talents are in constant demand, whether it be in a concert hall, recording studio, orchestra pit, or live performance. She can be heard on movie soundtracks, national television broadcasts, commercials, video games, and numerous recording artistsâ€™ CDs.
Jeannine plays principal flute for the Orchestra at Temple Square where she performs, records and tours with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. These performances include the weekly international broadcast of Music and the Spoken Word and the annual PBS Christmas Specials with featured artists from around the world. Her musical talents can be heard on the numerous award winning and Grammy nominated Mormon Tabernacle choir CDâ€™s, films, and broadcasts. She was also involved in a filming and recording session with Andrea Bocelli, David Foster, and the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. Goeckeritz has had the great fortune to play with many world renowned artists and perform at amazing venues throughout the United States. She currently plays with the Ballet West Orchestra, Utah Chamber Artists, and the American Festival Chorus and Orchestra. She was an adjunct flute professor at Weber State University for 20 years.
